Model Trees
By and large most commercially available model trees bear little or no resemblance to reality. So
I have therefore decided to make my range more widely known.
Whilst the tree to the right was constructed from C&L mouldings, there is a limit to the prototypes that can be constructed from plastic parts.
For larger trees and specific types, the twisted wire approach is the only realistic option (in my opinion). Unfortunately they do take quite a while to make.
You can see examples of my work featured on the front cover of the April 1995 issue of Modelling Railways Illustrated.
Prices start from around £10.00 plus postage.
Trees over and above those quoted below cost an additional £10.00 (approx) per vertical inch but could be a little more or a little less depending on prototype.
Large spreading type trees are obviously going to take much more time to construct than say a tall thin type, as well as more materials.
